Abstract

This study investigates the compensation strategies employed by high-tech enterprises to address knowledge gaps within their organizations. Recognizing the critical role of knowledge in driving innovation and competitive advantage, we explore how companies identify, assess, and mitigate gaps in expertise and information. Drawing upon qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys across diverse high-tech sectors, we analyze the effectiveness of compensation mechanisms such as training programs, knowledge-sharing platforms, collaborative networks, and strategic partnerships in closing knowledge differentials. Through a comprehensive examination of organizational practices and outcomes, we identify key factors influencing the success of knowledge gap compensation strategies, including organizational culture, leadership support, technological infrastructure, and employee engagement. Our findings contribute to both theoretical understanding and practical insights into how high-tech enterprises can strategically manage and leverage knowledge assets to maintain their competitive edge in dynamic and knowledge-intensive environments.
