This research investigates the business model innovation path pursued by Chinese enterprises amid the overseas merger and acquisition (M&A) boom, using Lenovo Group as a case study. The globalization of Chinese companies through overseas M&A activities presents unique opportunities and challenges, particularly in terms of adapting business models to diverse markets, cultures, and regulatory environments. Through an in-depth analysis of Lenovo Group's strategic decisions, market entry approaches, and business model evolution, this study examines the factors driving business model innovation in the context of overseas expansion. Leveraging qualitative data from interviews, financial reports, and industry analyses, the research explores how Lenovo Group leveraged its M&A activities to acquire new capabilities, access global markets, and enhance its competitive position in the technology industry. Furthermore, the study assesses the impact of business model innovation on Lenovo's performance, market share, and brand reputation in international markets. By providing insights into the strategic imperatives and organizational capabilities required for successful business model innovation in the context of overseas M&A, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of Chinese enterprises' global expansion strategies and their implications for the broader business landscape.
