Abstract

This research delves into the multifaceted connotations and the interrelationship between knowledge creation and knowledge innovation. Both concepts are central to understanding the dynamics of organizational learning, innovation, and competitive advantage in knowledge-intensive environments. Knowledge creation refers to the process of generating new knowledge or insights through the synthesis, integration, and interpretation of existing information, experiences, and ideas. On the other hand, knowledge innovation involves the transformation of existing knowledge into novel products, services, or processes that create value for organizations and society. Through a comprehensive review of literature and empirical analysis, this study aims to elucidate the conceptual nuances and the causal mechanisms that link knowledge creation and knowledge innovation. It explores how different forms of knowledge creation, such as experiential learning, exploration, and experimentation, contribute to the generation of innovative ideas and solutions. Moreover, the research investigates how organizational factors, such as culture, leadership, and knowledge management practices, influence the effectiveness of knowledge creation processes and their subsequent impact on innovation outcomes. By integrating insights from various disciplines, including organizational behavior, innovation management, and knowledge economics, this study seeks to develop a holistic understanding of the dynamics of knowledge creation and innovation and offer practical implications for organizations seeking to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
