Abstract

This research adopts a knowledge transfer perspective to investigate the type and influence of network resources within organizational contexts. Drawing on theories of social capital, knowledge management, and network theory, we examine the diverse forms of resources embedded within inter-organizational networks and their role in facilitating knowledge exchange and transfer. Through an integrative review of literature and empirical analysis, we elucidate the mechanisms through which network resources contribute to organizational learning, innovation, and performance. Furthermore, we explore the contingent factors that moderate the effectiveness of different types of network resources, including network structure, trust, and absorptive capacity. Insights derived from this study provide valuable implications for managers and policymakers seeking to leverage network relationships to enhance knowledge flows and competitive advantage in dynamic business environments.
