China, as one of the world's largest economies and greenhouse gas emitters, plays a crucial role in global efforts to mitigate climate change. This study conducts an economic analysis and effectiveness evaluation of China's CO2 emission mitigation targets. By examining the economic implications of various mitigation strategies, including carbon pricing, renewable energy investment, and regulatory measures, this research assesses the costs and benefits associated with achieving China's emission reduction goals. Furthermore, through the analysis of empirical data and policy interventions, this study evaluates the effectiveness of China's mitigation policies in reducing CO2 emissions and achieving environmental sustainability targets. The findings offer insights into the trade-offs between economic growth and environmental protection, highlighting the importance of implementing cost-effective and environmentally sustainable measures to address climate change challenges. By providing evidence-based assessments of China's CO2 emission mitigation efforts, this research contributes to informed decision-making and policy formulation aimed at promoting sustainable development and climate resilience.
