Abstract

This research study investigates the typical features and benchmarks of the entrepreneurial university, aiming to provide insights into the characteristics and best practices of universities engaged in entrepreneurial activities. Drawing upon theories of entrepreneurship, higher education, and innovation management, this study examines the key dimensions that define an entrepreneurial university, such as its organizational structure, leadership style, innovation ecosystem, industry collaboration, and knowledge transfer mechanisms. Through a comprehensive analysis of case studies, survey data, and expert interviews, this research identifies benchmarks and performance indicators that can be used to assess and benchmark the entrepreneurial orientation and effectiveness of universities. The findings offer valuable insights for university administrators, policymakers, and stakeholders interested in fostering an entrepreneurial culture and promoting innovation and economic development through higher education institutions. This study contributes to the growing literature on entrepreneurial universities by providing a systematic analysis of their typical features and benchmarks, with implications for strategic planning and policy development in the higher education sector.
