Abstract

This empirical study investigates the intricate dynamics between organizational learning, knowledge management, and the attainment of competitive advantage by new firms. Through a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative analysis and qualitative insights, the research delves into the pathways through which organizational learning processes contribute to the development and utilization of knowledge assets, ultimately leading to enhanced competitive positioning in the marketplace. Specifically, the study explores how different dimensions of organizational learning, such as experiential learning, knowledge acquisition, and knowledge transfer, influence the effectiveness of knowledge management practices in leveraging intellectual capital for competitive advantage. Drawing upon data collected from a diverse sample of new firms across various industries, the research examines the mediating role of knowledge management mechanisms, such as knowledge creation, storage, dissemination, and utilization, in translating organizational learning into tangible competitive outcomes. Moreover, it investigates the contingent factors and contextual variables that shape the relationship between organizational learning, knowledge management, and competitive advantage, including industry dynamism, technological turbulence, and organizational culture. The findings shed light on the critical role of knowledge management as a mediator and enabler of the organizational learning process, highlighting the importance of strategic alignment, resource allocation, and learning capability development in fostering sustainable competitive advantage for new firms. By providing empirical insights and theoretical contributions, this study offers practical implications for managers, policymakers, and scholars seeking to enhance the effectiveness of knowledge-based strategies and drive innovation-led growth in the competitive business landscape.
