Abstract

This research focuses on the enhancement of revenue sharing policies concerning the transfer of science and technology (S&T) achievements. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing revenue sharing mechanisms and practices, the study identifies opportunities for improvement to better incentivize technology transfer and commercialization. Drawing upon insights from innovation management, intellectual property rights, and technology commercialization literature, the research examines the various factors influencing revenue sharing arrangements, including government policies, institutional frameworks, and industry dynamics. Using case studies and comparative analysis, the study evaluates the effectiveness of different revenue sharing models in fostering collaboration between research institutions, industry partners, and technology transfer intermediaries. Furthermore, the research explores innovative approaches such as performance-based incentives, equity stakes, and revenue-sharing formulas tailored to the unique characteristics of S&T achievements and market contexts. The findings offer practical recommendations for policymakers, technology transfer offices, and industry stakeholders seeking to optimize revenue sharing policies to maximize the societal impact and economic value of S&T innovations. By promoting more equitable and efficient revenue sharing arrangements, this research aims to accelerate the translation of research discoveries into real-world applications and stimulate innovation-driven economic growth.
