Abstract

Aqueous solutions in apparatuses equipped with electrodes and permanent
magnets can be subjected to electric and magnetic fields. By collecting the liquid in the vicinity of the electrodes, it is possible to obtain fractions of water with different pH and ionic content. The effect of electric and magnetic fields on the bulk properties of water is still under scrutiny.
