Abstract

This paper examines the relationship between strategic networks and innovations through a structural embeddedness perspective. Drawing upon insights from social network theory and innovation management literature, the study explores how the structural characteristics of strategic networks influence the generation, diffusion, and adoption of innovations within organizations and industries. Through a qualitative analysis of case studies and empirical research, the study investigates the role of network structure, ties strength, network centrality, and network diversity in facilitating or hindering innovation processes. Additionally, the research examines the mechanisms through which structural embeddedness affects knowledge sharing, collaboration, and co-creation of value among network actors. By offering a structural embeddedness perspective on strategic networks and innovations, this study contributes to advancing understanding of the complex interplay between social networks, organizational structures, and innovation dynamics.
