Abstract

Ekam Ardhanarishwaram, a dance drama is a practical experiment of exploring the spiritual and scientific facets of Shiva Tatva through Kuchipudi dance in the traditional devata Upasana manner. This experiment is focussed on recording the experiences of both the performers and the audience to understand the impact of dance drama in explaining highly philosophical and spiritual topics like Shiva Tattva and its spiritual and scientific significance incorporating unique methods and elements of Indian dance and art.
