Abstract

Aim: This research aims to examine the relationship between social policy and health outcomes by utilizing causal and international evidence supported by economic modeling.

Subject and Methods: The study begins with an introduction highlighting the importance of social policy in shaping health outcomes and the potential benefits of employing economic modeling techniques. A comprehensive literature review follows, summarizing existing research on the topic and identifying gaps in current understanding. To address these gaps, the paper proposes a methodology that incorporates both causal and international evidence using economic modeling as a framework. The research question guiding this study is: "How does social policy impact health outcomes and what role does economic modeling play in understanding this relationship?"

Results: The findings from this research demonstrate that social policies, when analyzed through sophisticated economic modeling techniques, have significant implications for health outcomes. By quantifying the costs, benefits, and trade-offs involved, the models provide insights into the economic feasibility, sustainability, and distributive effects of social policy reforms. Cross-national analyses reveal diverse experiences and policy approaches, shedding light on the generalizability and adaptability of policy interventions.

Conclusion: This study advances the understanding of the intricate relationship between social policy and health outcomes. By synthesizing cutting-edge research, rigorous empirical analysis, and sophisticated economic modeling, it offers a comprehensive exploration of the causal pathways, cross-national variations, and economic dimensions within this dynamic domain. The insights garnered from this endeavor hold immense potential to inform evidence-based policy-making, foster healthier societies, and pave the way toward equitable well-being for all.
