Abstract

As the volume of data transmitted over networks continues to grow, developing robust and secure image encryption methods for transmitting multiple images in batches has become increasingly crucial. The limitations of single-image encryption techniques are becoming more evident, especially when it comes to handling large-scale data transmission over unprotected networks. In this paper, a multiple image encryption (MIE) technique is proposed with an aim of reducing the transmission time of the encrypted digital images and improving their security level. Initially, we combined the original images to generate an augmented image. Then the augmented image is divided in blocks and scrambled using affine map and propagated in Fresnel domain. Finally, the resultant augmented image is diffused using the Logistic chaotic map and the ciphered image is obtained. The feasibility and security of the proposed method is checked by simulation in MATLAB and the results shows high security and resistance to attacks (KPA, COA, CCA).
