Abstract

Lactic acid producing bacteria are important and mostly used probiotic organisms in the field of food manufacturing industries. They are commonly present in most of the food supplements, also in food items like milk, meat and vegetables. Many research is encouraged to find new probiotics due to its world level economic impact in consuming food supplements with probiotics and also its health promoting effects. The production of these food types will be enhanced by both researchers and manufacturers because of an increasing consumer’s needs of functional foods for their consciousness in health. The preparation of food products was formulated along with probiotics will be considered as main research area mainly in the formulation and marketing of probiotic food supplements. The market of novel probiotic dietary supplements going to be increased from 3.3 to 7 billion dollars during the period from 2015 to 2025 at global level. Hence, this review is delivering on the presence of many probiotic microorganisms and its economic importance in different field.
