The Central High Plateaus regions in Algeria, such as Djelfa, M'sila, and Laghouat, face significant challenges in sustainable human development due to harsh climatic conditions and persistent drought, in addition to weak infrastructure and limited educational opportunities in rural areas. The economy of these regions relies heavily on agriculture, which encounters problems in water resource management and economic diversification.
Despite these challenges, the Algerian government is working to improve education and provide economic opportunities in these regions, such as remote education programs and investments in sustainable agricultural technologies. Furthermore, enhancing environmental sustainability through water management and the use of modern technologies is essential to ensure the sustainability of development in these areas.
Ultimately, Algeria needs to adopt comprehensive strategies to improve infrastructure, expand educational opportunities, and promote a green economy to ensure sustainable human development in the Central High Plateaus.
