This paper presents a theoretical analysis of technology convergence within the framework of foreign direct investment (FDI) in China's industrial landscape. Grounded in theories of technological convergence and FDI dynamics, we explore the mechanisms and implications of industrial technology resource convergence facilitated by foreign investment inflows. Drawing on conceptual insights and empirical evidence, we examine how FDI influences the convergence of technological capabilities among domestic and multinational enterprises operating in China. Additionally, we elucidate the role of government policies, institutional factors, and industry dynamics in shaping the process of technology convergence within FDI-intensive sectors. By synthesizing theoretical perspectives and empirical findings, this paper contributes to a deeper understanding of the complex interplay between FDI and technology convergence in China's evolving industrial landscape.
