EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF AI TOOLS ON EMPLOYEE CONFIDENCE AND ORGANISATIONAL OUTCOMES IN MODERN WORKPLACES
Abstract
The modern workplace is experiencing great transformation due to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools which has improved decision making process, enhanced productivity and streamlined operations (Gabelaia et al., 2024). Human resource dynamics has been reshaped due to AI-powered tools such as predictive analytics, performance management software, and personalized learning platforms (Vrontis et al., 2023). AI adoption is critical to employee confidence which serves as a key determinant to organizational performance. Despite the importance of AI adoption to employee confidence this area is left under explored. In Nigeria and Kano state in particular, organizations are striving to adapt to technological advancements and evolving economic conditions. To understand the inter-play between AI tools and employee confidence, it is essential to understand the full potentials of AI-driven workplace transformation (Bankins et al., 2024). This study aims to explore the extent to which AI tools influence employee confidence and its further effects on engagement and organistional performance, thereby providing empirical insight for organizations planning to integrate AI into their employee development strategies. Developing employee strategies is needed to drive organizational success.
