Abstract
This study addresses the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions for impulsive fractional sum-difference equations in Banach spaces. By applying fixed point principles, sufficient conditions are derived to ensure well-posedness of the problem. The inclusion of impulsive effects allows the model to describe systems subject to abrupt changes, while the fractional framework captures memory-dependent dynamics. As an application, the theoretical results are demonstrated through a discrete frac tional model in population dynamics, highlighting the effectiveness of the approach for real-world problems in science and engineering.
