Abstract

This paper explores policies for developing emerging industries through the lens of total-process interface management, drawing insights from experiences of developed countries. Adopting a comparative analysis approach, this study examines how governments in developed nations have designed and implemented policies to support the growth and competitiveness of emerging industries across the entire innovation value chain. Through case studies and literature review, this research identifies key elements of effective policy frameworks, including funding mechanisms, regulatory environment, infrastructure investment, talent development, and international collaboration. Moreover, this study investigates the challenges and lessons learned from policy implementation in developed countries, considering factors such as stakeholder engagement, policy coherence, and evaluation mechanisms. The findings offer valuable insights for policymakers, industry practitioners, and stakeholders interested in designing and implementing policies to promote the development of emerging industries, with implications for fostering innovation-driven economic growth and sustainable development.
