Abstract

This paper investigates the source of technology advantage in Chinese transnational corporations (TNCs) operating in global markets. Through a combination of theoretical analysis and empirical research, the study aims to identify the key drivers and mechanisms underlying the technology advantage of Chinese TNCs. Drawing upon insights from innovation theory, international business literature, and case studies of prominent Chinese TNCs, the research examines factors such as technological capabilities, research and development (R&D) investments, knowledge acquisition strategies, and internationalization pathways. Additionally, the study explores the role of government policies, industry dynamics, and strategic alliances in facilitating or constraining the technology advantage of Chinese TNCs. By offering a comprehensive analysis of the sources of technology advantage, this paper contributes to advancing our understanding of the competitive strategies and capabilities of Chinese TNCs in the global marketplace.
