Abstract

Soil is the basic Foundation for any Civil Engineering Structure. It is required to bear the load applied to it without Failure.in some places, soil is expansive and high Plasticity in nature which cannot resist oncoming Load. It is necessary to stabilize the soil before use for any construction Work. In this study soft clay has been taken from Kumarkomsite. The physical properties of soil were determined as per the I S classification. For the study Fly ash was brought from Bhus an Power plant. It has high absorption capacity. Due to Pozzolanicaction of fly ash it imparts greater strength to the soil. In this test program without additive, the various engineering properties of soil were tested to get CBR Value, OMC, Liquidity Index, Plasticity Index, and UCS, etc. Strength of Soil is calculated by adding Fly ash to the Soil in Different Percentage. The soil and fly ash mixture are cured for different days(3,7 and14 days).
